Luc Van den Brande and Hendrik Theunissen

Luc Van den Brande was Chair of the CIVEX Commission (Citizenship, Governance, Institutional and External Affaires) of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union and President of the Flanders-EU Liaison Agency; former President of the Committee of the Regions 2008-2010; former President of the EPP/CD-group of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe; former Minister-President of Flanders 1992-1999; former Federal Minister of Labor and Employment 1988-1992; former member of the Flemish Parliament and; former Belgian Community Senator (www.lucvandenbrande.be). Hendrik Theunissen was administrator in the Forward Studies Unit of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union. He holds a MA in Law (University of Antwerpen), a MA in Advanced European and International Studies (Institut Européen des Hautes Etudes Internationales) and a LLM in European Legal Studies (College of Europe).
